Vocal Lenz started in 2016 with a trip to New York City and a playlist full of A Tribe Called Quest.

At the time, I didn’t even own a camera. Everything was shot on my phone. But that trip changed the way I saw the world. I became drawn to the details, stories, and everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

When I got home, I bought my first camera and started teaching myself photography. What began as curiosity grew into a creative outlet and a way to express feelings that were difficult to put into words. That’s where the name Vocal Lenz comes from—using photography as a voice through the lens.

After being laid off in February 2026, I decided to stop treating photography like a dream and start building something real. Today, Vocal Lenz is dedicated to creating meaningful images that tell stories, preserve memories, and capture what a moment truly felt like.
